Christie grew up in Colorado, and was fortunate enough to also live in France, Switzerland, and Yugoslavia. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts before moving to San Diego. She has lived in the San Diego community of Kensington for over 30 years, raising two boys and participating in community organizations and events. Christie and her very energetic Australian Shepherd participate in agility classes when they are not out hiking or enjoying Fiesta Island. For fun she plays on various tennis teams and indulges in her passion for fresh powder by going heli-skiing. Travel is in her blood and she loves exploring new places.
